Project Brief: Section 20 works – Planned external refurbishment of two listed residential buildings split in to multiple flats. Rear elevation brickwork and chimney stacks were becoming structural problematic and needed essential works to ensure safety and longevity.
Work Carried Out:
- Scaffold
- Removal and replacement of approx 50sqm of bricks on the rear wall due to the outer skin of brick work peeling away.
- Removal and rebuilding of chimney stacks
- Installation of roofing lights
- Asphalt roof replacement
- Bespoke metal handrails installed with new decking to terrace
- Decoration and timber repairs on both the front and rear of two buildings
